Terms and Conditions
Use of this website and the products and services offered in it are subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Using and purchasing products on our website implies that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice to you and any changes will apply to subsequent orders received.
How to order our products
Orders can be placed online. We will only accept orders from inside the UK.
Orders placed online will be confirmed automatically by email. Confirmation emails do not guarantee that we can meet your order. You will be contacted promptly if your order cannot be met or if there is a delay in despatch and you will be refunded as appropriate.
Prices are as displayed on our website and are in British Pounds. We try to ensure that prices shown on our website are accurate. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling it. A full refund will be given.
Prices are inclusive of VAT.
Prices displayed are inclusive of VAT but exclude delivery and post and package charges where applicable. Please see the delivery section below for details of our charges.
Payment
Payment can be by Visa, MasterCard, Switch or Delta card. To ensure that shopping online is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted so as to minimise the risk of your details being read by an unauthorised individual.
No contract will exist between Walnut & Weave and the customer until goods are despatched. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on successful despatch of and payment for the goods. Payment will not be taken until the goods are ready to despatch, unless the goods are bespoke furniture. Orders for bespoke furniture will have 50% of the payment taken at the time of order and the balance upon despatch.
Delivery
Most products are available from our warehouse for delivery within 7 to 14 days, however, please allow up to 28 days. Certain items of furniture or bespoke items will take between 4 and 12 weeks for delivery.
We only deliver to addresses within the UK.
Please ensure that someone is present on delivery as we require a signature.
Walnut & Weave currently only deliver within the UK (England, Scotland, Wales).
Delivery is between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be advised about a more specific day and time close to delivery.
Charges:
Basic – post and packaging - £4.95 per order
Furniture – delivery charge of £45 per order
These delivery charges are for the total order regardless of how many items have been purchased.
We use Royal Mail post or other reputable couriers where appropriate.
For security purposes, we do not deliver to P.O. Box numbers. We require a signature on receipt of the goods ordered.
Important – Are you sure you have measured correctly?
Particularly when ordering larger items, it is very important that you carefully
measure both the final location of the item and ALSO whether you can get it to the location. Do you have tight corners on your staircase or narrow doorways? If you are in any doubt, please be sure to check again and let us know if there is a problem. If we arrive to deliver an item and find that we have access problems, we will give you a refund but we will deduct a £50 collection charge to take your order back. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Some furniture will be delivered flat pack and we do not currently offer a service of building flat pack furniture. Please open the packaging and check that all the components are included. Please contact us immediately if anything is missing or damaged. All of our furniture is easy to assemble and will only require the minimum of tools and knowledge to do so. Please contact us you have any queires.
Refunds
You have a right to cancel your order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day (Monday to Friday) following the day after the day on which you received the products. You do not need to give us any reason for cancellation.

Where goods have already been despatched, they must be returned in perfect condition, unused and in the original packaging to the return address shown below. Upon receipt of the goods as described, Walnut & Weave will credit the purchase price back to the customer less any handling charge that may be applicable, within 28 days. Walnut & Weave will not be responsible for any refund of postage or carriage.
No exchange or refund can be given on bespoke (made to order) products, unless your instructions have not been carried out or the item is found to be faulty. A non-refundable deposit of 25% will be payable if the order is cancelled after 7 days.
If you are not entirely delighted with your order, please contact us within 7 days. You may return the item to us within 28 days of receipt and we will offer you an exchange or refund, providing that the goods are unused and in their original packaging. After 28 days, we can only offer a credit note. The goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the goods at your own risk. Postage for returns will only be refunded where goods are faulty (please retain the receipt).
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
b) we do not deliver to your area
c) one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you and will credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty Goods
We will take great care to ensure that you receive your goods in perfect condition.
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please email enquiries@walnutandweave.co.uk immediately. You have the right to refuse delivery if the product is damaged.
However, if you discover your goods to be damaged or faulty after delivery, please again email enquiries@walnutandweave.co.uk
describing the fault.
You will be asked to return the products to us, obtaining a receipt for postage and packaging. You will be responsible for the goods until we receive them.
We check all products returned to us. If we do not find the goods to be faulty, we will contact you and discuss the options: if within the refund period, whether you wish to exchange or refund, if outside this period, whether you wish to receive a credit note. We will not refund any postage costs incurred on a product we do not consider faulty. We strongly advise that you check the product and instructions carefully before returning it to us.

We are not responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control, nor that use of our website will be completely error free or uninterrupted.
We will not be responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for reasons beyond our control.

Please feel free to give us any feedback, recommendations or comments about our website.
Equally, we take seriously any problems or difficulties and aim to deal with them in a timely, fair and effective manner.

We try to respond to any email enquiries within 48 hours and to any letters within one week.

When you place an order, we collect your name, email and mailing address, phone number and credit card information for the purposes of being able to process your order as efficiently as possible.
We may record which products you are interested in and which products you purchase in order to help us improve the products and service we offer.
We may use this information to inform you of any new products or special offers that we think you may be interested in or about changes to our website.
